The Humane Society’s Animal Sanctuary and Animal Shelter have received countless group visits from schools, day care centers, pre-schools, Girl Guides, church groups, and summer camps. Shelter staff take the opportunity during these visits to not only entertain the children but also to teach them how to be responsible pet owners.
